This Privacy Policy describes how RhiPlay handles information when you use First Guess® through the app or online at play.rhiplaygames.com, and when you visit the RhiPlay website.
Information we collect
When you play First Guess®, we may process an account identifier, your chosen player name and avatar, sign-in details supplied by your authentication provider, game progress, scores, XP, achievements and league or leaderboard activity. Guest play and signed-in play may use different identifiers.
Technical information, such as device and browser details, IP addresses, diagnostics and access logs, may also be processed to operate and protect the service. Support requests may include the information you choose to send us.
How we use information
We use this information to provide gameplay, save and synchronise progress, manage accounts and leagues, display rankings, respond to support requests, prevent misuse, investigate technical issues and maintain the security and reliability of First Guess®.
Third-party services
First Guess® uses services provided by Google Firebase, including authentication, cloud data storage and server-side functionality. Authentication may also involve Google or Apple when you choose those sign-in methods. Website hosting, platform providers and other infrastructure services may process technical information needed to deliver and secure the service.
Those services have their own applicable privacy information. We will update this policy if the services or information we process change materially.
Advertising and your privacy
RhiPlay plans to use Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial advertisements in the First Guess® iOS and Android apps. Google AdSense may also be used to show advertisements on the First Guess® website. These advertising features are being prepared and are not necessarily active in every version of the service.
When advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may collect or process information such as IP addresses, device and app information, advertising or other device identifiers, approximate location inferred from IP address, diagnostic information and interactions with advertisements. Depending on your device, settings, region and permissions, advertising technologies may use cookies or similar device storage and identifiers for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and, where permitted, personalisation.
Where required by law, we will provide choices to consent to, decline, or manage advertising-related data processing before requesting relevant ads. The adverts available may be personalised or non-personalised depending on applicable law, your choices and technical availability. Declining personalised advertising does not necessarily prevent all advertising or all processing necessary to deliver and protect ads.
When the advertising consent features are launched, eligible users will be able to review their choices using the privacy options made available within the app. You can also control certain advertising identifiers and tracking permissions through your device settings. We will review advertising settings and apply appropriate safeguards for younger users and regions with additional privacy requirements before enabling advertising.
Data retention
Account and gameplay information is kept while needed to operate First Guess®. If you request account deletion, we aim to remove the account and associated personal gameplay data as part of the deletion process, subject to information that we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention or other legitimate obligations. Requests may take time to complete.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information. Signed-in players can request account deletion from First Guess® under the account settings. See our Delete Account page for instructions, or contact support if you need assistance.
Children's Privacy
We take the privacy of younger players seriously. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent is required, unless appropriate consent or another lawful basis applies.
